For a long time I have been thinking about creating a blog about people.I did not had a clear ideia of it and I struggled about the management of the blog, so I have postponed it, like I usually do when I think about anything that consumes time and work (time that I ultimately spend doing non-sense rubbish stuff). Then summer arrived, and like all summers in the last years I think "I do not have a plan again". This little piece of text could lead to an endless story (that I believe many students share) which eventually I will discuss later with you, but now the real deal: the reason and purpose of this blog.
I always have been fascinated about people: their ideias, their thoughts,their life story, the place where they live,their culture, how they live, why they live (or not), their ideals, their ambitions, their beliefs,their interests, their perspective, their personalities...I have always had this urge of knowing many different people, different from me, who I can learn from and try (always try) to understand .People have always something good to offer, something that even them do not know about.Being able to learn with every single person in this world is a challenging thing and I really believe that we always can grow as a person by listening and sharing opinions. I guess most people have trouble in being truely open and honest, for various reasons, but I think writing when you are all alone can break some barriers,and I hope people can do it here.
I assure you I have search a lot in the internet about all kinds of stuff of my interest (of course) and I never have found a blog like this one I am trying to make. I do not want this blog to be about me, I want it to be about everyone who read this blog, because if you have found it among the billions of blogs and information on the internet, it means you were seeking for something you did not found yet, and if you still are reading, it means I have got your eye, and that I am more than pleased.The reason I am writing in English, and not in my own language is because I want that our blog become an international known blog, though it is amazingly limited ( limited because I can only reach some of the people with internet, and among them, only the ones who can read english, besides the fact that I do not know if many people are up to cooperate) it is my the best effort to get what I want, and lead people who search the same things I search, which are the experiences of milllions of people from all over the world. My aim is that everyone can change somewhat their perspective. People can only relate with something they have lived or they want to live or with someone who they used to be or want to be.Some stories would not mean much for you and others will mean everything.I discovered that listening other people stories can sometimes, if you are predisposed for it, give you that energy and guts to change your life and live the life you really want to, and that most of us do not live, for fear (me included). This is a journey for me... I feel like I am somewhat waisting my time and not doing what I know (but I do not want to admit) I should be doing to be happy. This this is not about age.Age is an excuse.Age is the last of all excuses.This blog is for EVERYONE, everyone can learn everday, everyone can change everyday.Are you 20? are you 40? are you 60? it does not really matter.
Starting this blog is really difficult, I wonder who are going be the first ones to post here....I hope my ideia interests you, so you could helping me spreading the word ;)
